We stopped at Carls Jr, then drove across the border. Driving across the border doesn't seem like quite a thrilling experience, but it is, looking at all those frowning guards with big guns. Luckily, it wasn't a busy day, and we were across fast!
We crossed at the San Ysidro Border Crossing. Apparently it's the busiest international border crossing in the world. It goes between San Diego and Tijuana. Again, it wasn't that busy the day we crossed over(going back was a whole other nightmare, more on that later.)

You can kinda tell when you've crossed borders, even if the weather is the same. The way the people look, the way the buildings look, all the graffiti....they shout "Hey! We're in Mexico now!" You can't see in this picture very well, but there were a ton of vendors walking around the cars in the road selling everything from ponchos to puppies to statues!
It was a beautiful day, and not too hot either!
