I've just returned from a mission trip to Ensenada, Mexico(or Baja California, to be exact.) I'll chronicle the trip over the next couple days(complete with pictures), but first, meet my team.
Our group was rather large for a mission trip, and we were split into two villages. These are some of my team members.
Lauri-She was one of the "leaders" and pretty much organized everything
Shawn-Main coordinator of the trip
Juan-Master Translator
Melissa-Our Rancho Agua Viva(the center that we stayed at and worked with) coordinator and translator
Barbara- Incredibly sweet and fun to be around, translator
Janelle and Daniel-The two other alumni that went on this trip. Janelle has been on several large-scale trips before too, and a good friend. This was Daniel's first mission trip, and he was the big brother to everybody
There were others too,Liz, Sawyer, Matt, and Andrew also went, and some brought their parents.
I look forward to telling you about my trip! It was life-changing!
PS. Manda Lluvia means "sends rain" in spanish. I got to practice my Spanish a lot, even with a translator.
