I'm Still Alive

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I just haven't gotten around to it. Let's see......The rest of the ministry went the same as when I first described it(in detail) so I won't go too into that today.
This is Roberta's house with a wall up.   Ain't it purty? (even though I couldn't help much-what with my sprained ankle and all.)
Who are they? I dunno. I think they're her daughters, but I'm not sure. All I know is they're friendly, they were obsessed with Sawyer's red hair,(they said he was pretty) and their English is way better than my Spanish. They were really happy for the extra room and shade, cause it was really hot.
All of these houses are built on car tires and perilous cliffs. We didn't get to finish-(more work for Village 2) but it was really awesome. It was touching when Roberta said(in a translated conversation) that she was thankful we made her house bigger, because then, we could stay at her house the next time we came to Mexico! Course, there's no way you're fitting twenty of us into that house, but it was touching nontheless.

The soccer ministry went the same.
Let's play a game. It's called, Spot Roberta's House From The Cliff Photos.

Can you find it?

Izzhere. And those long, dusty looking cliff roads are as dangerous as they look(sprained ankle, remember.) It's scary watching cars drive up and down those.  I was kinda freaked out. (Unlike Meredith, a Village 2-er, who rode a Big Wheel down one of those roads, more on that later.)

See y'all!

What pictures do you use for your computer wallpaper?(tell me in comments) This is my current one:

  1. That wallpaper is CUTE! I like.

So you sprained your ankle? :( When? What happened?

  2. Hey lookit what I found :

It's been up for a week and that (count 'em) 19 posts!!! Can you say WOW!?!!

(fangirl flapping of arms and running around in circles) (eee) (ignore this)(spoilers for Son of Neptune)

my fangirl obsessions go in cycles...this week, it's totally Heroes of Olympus/Percy Jackson(again)

There's this amazing artist on deviantart...burdge-bug...who does AMAZING Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Maximum Ride, and even HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE fanart. Now, we need to get her to read Artemis Fowl...XD.

Anyways, here are some of my favorites of hers.

I kind of want to pull a Ms. Black and blast Jason right off the tapestry. There's some speculation to whether or not Annabeth will be on the Argo II. I kind of don't want her to be, so Nico can join instead. Then again, if Nico is already in Rome(as speculated at the end of Neptune) there's still room.  GAH RR WHY MUST YOU TORMENT US SO

love this scene...Senatus Populusque Romanus FTW.

Which do you think is cooler? Camp Half Blood or Camp Jupiter? Camp Jupiter definitely has a more efficient way of doing things(separating by cohort instead of parentage, sending large groups instead o…

Ciel Phantomhive vs. Artemis Fowl

Don't laugh. XD
The similarities between the two characters are so distinct and obvious that comparison is inevitable for anyone who's read/watched both series. I seriously thought when I first noticed Black Butler(more popularly referred to as Kuroshitsuji) that it was literally an anime adaption of Artemis Fowl.  Other people have read Artemis Fowl and thought "CIEL HAS A CLONE??!?"
So I thought I'd outline some of the differences and analyze who would win. XD
Appearance:  This is the first similarity, and one of the most major, because if they didn't look so darn alike I don't think the comparison would have been as striking. The above picture of Artemis is a fanart, because there aren't really any good pictures of Artemis, and the manga style makes it more obvious. They are both from the British Isles and have black hair and blue eyes. Both of them lose/change/switch an eye resulting in two different colors.
Circumstance: They both s…

Howl's Moving Castle book analysis

“I feel ill. I'm going to bed, where I may die.”
― Howl, upon having a cold. I've decided to call them "book analysis" because they're not really reviews that tell you how much I liked the book, rather,  me taking the book apart and looking at different aspects of it for my own entertainment. Read on. Also, read Howl's Moving Castle.

This is the original cover of Howl's Moving Castle and I have got to say it is the UGLIEST thing I have ever seen. I like the new one much better.

First of all, I should point out that Howl's Moving Castle is a children's book. However, I like to hold all books I read to the same standard, after all, they're written by adults.

I had biased expectations of Howl's Moving Castle from the start, because I kept hearing from several sources how amazing, how fantastic, how hilarious and how romantic the book was, and hearing the perfectly gorgeous soundtrack by Joe Hizazi(something or other.)

Howl's Movi…
