Tagged!

I've been tagged...by someone. Seriously, everyone in the blogosphere is doing this, so I don't remember who. Maybe it was more than one. I just remember seeing my name...and oh, here we go.

List 10 (music) Artists you love, in no particular order, without looking at the questions below.
1.All American Rejects
2.Taylor Swift
3. John Powell
4. Black Eyed Peas
5. No Doubt/Gwen Stefani
6. Fireflight
7. Coldplay! <3
8. Paramore
9. Christophe Beck
10. A Fine Frenzy.

Now for the questions!!!!!

1. What was the first song you've ever heard by 6?
It would be "Unbreakable." Unbreakable is really encouraging, and the lead singer has a powerful voice.

2. What's your favorite song of 8?
I like Brick by Boring Brick, or Fences. Or Misery Business. Yes, I've decided to stop with the quotes.

3. What kind of impact has 1 left on your life?
The All American Rejects are a alt rock group that doesn't have explicit lyrics or bad language. Their songs are nicely morbid(like most rock groups) but it's nice to not have to worry about that.

4. What's your favorite lyric of 5's?
"And after all the obstacles
It's good to see you now with someone else
And it's such a miracle that you and me are still good friends"

I love this line, and this song, because it shows that you can still be friends and forgive and overcome your past, even though you broke up with someone. :p It's such a nice contrast to all the "AUGH you betrayed me for my best friend's cousin's dogwalker now i hope your car gets stuck in a giant puddle of crazy clue when you're going somewhere important" songs. It really esteems life-long friendships.  I really wish you would go listen to this song. It's so pretty :'(.

5. How many times have you seen 4 live?
None. I think they would hurt my ears without autotune.

6. What's your favorite song of 7?
Viva la Vida <3. It actually has Christian themes. I love Coldplay <3. <3. It's so epic. I'm learning it on the piano.

7. Is there any song of 3 that makes you sad?
YES. I was bawling at "Romantic flight." Then I listened to it consecutively over the next two weeks, and it died down a little.

8. What's your favorite song by 9?
Homecoming. I cried at that one too. :( And I like "Fighting Luke Part Two." even though its name leaves something to be desired.

9. How did you first get into 2?
The song "You Belong With Me." Some of my friends were singing it. Then I heard it at church.

10. How did you first get into 3?
The movie "How To Train Your Dragon."

11. What's your favorite song by 4?
It's a tie between "Bebot" and "Dum Diddly." both of which I'm doing for my dance recital.

12. How many times have you seen 9 live?
None. I don't think you CAN. :P

13. What is a good memory concerning 10?
I first heard her from Mariella's book trailer. It really fit Mariella's book :P.

14. Are there any songs of 8 that make you sad?
Not really.

15. What is your favorite song of 1's?
It Ends Tonight.

16. How did you become a fan of 10?
(scrolls up) (sees artist)(glances at no. 13.)

I really wanted to do a REAL post today. :( I'm working on it! I spent 2 hours working on 2 posts, both of which are not ready for publication.
:(

Who can do a back walkover? I'm working on it.

Comments

  1. I was almost going to tag you, but I figured someone had already beat me to it.

I could do a back walkover at one point in my life. Before I broke my arm. Those were the days...

That makes me sound old doesn't it?

  2. I tagged you! ;) LOL!

I'm listening to Romantic Flight right now and I'm nearly going to cry. It's seriously one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've EVER heard. I love How to Train your Dragon. :)

I could never do a back walkover and I never will. XD I have weak wrists. :P

three amazing--and relatively little known--psalms

So I'm reading Psalms in the Bible right now. Well, Psalms is one of the three places I read from. I'm reading the Bible all the way through and read two chapters from three places--the Old Testament, the middle of the Old Testament, and the New Testament--every day. I'm in Deuteronomy and Romans in the other sections, but in the middle I'm still right where I started from-Psalms. Cause Psalms is really really long. I was getting kind of tired of Psalms(which isn't really the right attitude to be reading the Bible in). But I realized there are some really breathtaking passages in Psalms, and I'm glad I read them. These are my three favorites: *Buck Forester on Flikr Psalm 65 This one is about God's spectacular creation. What mighty praise, O God,      belongs to you in Zion. We will fulfill our vows to you, 2       for you answer our prayers.      All of us must come to you. 3  Though we are overwhelmed by our sins,      you forgive them a

Ciel Phantomhive vs. Artemis Fowl

Don't laugh. XD The similarities between the two characters are so distinct and obvious that comparison is inevitable for anyone who's read/watched both series. I seriously thought when I first noticed Black Butler(more popularly referred to as Kuroshitsuji) that it was literally an anime adaption of Artemis Fowl.  Other people have read Artemis Fowl and thought "CIEL HAS A CLONE??!?" So I thought I'd outline some of the differences and analyze who would win. XD Similarities: Appearance:  This is the first similarity, and one of the most major, because if they didn't look so darn alike I don't think the comparison would have been as striking. The above picture of Artemis is a fanart, because there aren't really any good pictures of Artemis, and the manga style makes it more obvious. They are both from the British Isles and have black hair and blue eyes. Both of them lose/change/switch an eye resulting in two different colors.

I need book recommendations!

I heard this movie stunk. C'mon, I'm dying over here! In other, unrelated news, want to hear one of the most overrated book series I've ever read is? Alex Rider. I picked up Stormbreaker after legions of people going "READ ITZ AMARANTHINE TIS AMAZING". It was alright....I guess. I didn't...fall asleep or anything. But it was definitely not mind blowing. For starters, Alex is way underdeveloped as a character. He was a little funny and relate able but not on the same level as I was expecting. And he's a bit cliched in the fact that he's just generally smart and knows everything, without any explanation or emphasis. I guess you could say that he's only a genius when he needs to be, and it doesn't add any other levels to the story. Oh, and did I mention that he's well versed in martial arts too? Yeah. Ender could still kick his butt though. I guess it would be a good read for boys who don't read much. Definitely not YA lev
