Other than that, I have not much to post about.

Here are some modern proverbs that are reposted from a long time ago.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.

How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

Was learning cursive really necessary?

Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the Person died.

Bad decisions make good stories.

You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.

Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blu Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.

I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page research paper that I didn't make any changes to.

"Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this - ever.

I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Darn it!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voice mail. What did you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?

I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.

I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.

I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

Sometimes, I'll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and suddenly realize I had no idea what the heck was going on when I first saw it.

I would rather try to carry 10 plastic grocery bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.

How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.

So I was on Tumblr looking up stuff...here is some random stuff that I found XD

It is totally NOT FAIR how The Hunger Games gets it's movie made in like two years, while books like Artemis Fowl have been waiting since 2011 for their movies.

I found this, which pretty much sums up my feelings. XD

"also artemis fowl i can’t even artemis fowl LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT ARTEMIS FOWL. it is irish and feminist and balls out awesome and queer friendly and hilarious and just the best thing young adult literature can offer kids, teens, and adults. it’s so moving and beautiful and i stan the characters (and oh gosh don’t even get me started on artemis/holly) so much. it’s been an unbelievably huge part of my childhood and eoin colfer will have my literary heart for it forever."

Maximum Ride is one of the only series I recommend for EVERYBODY in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD.
How I feel about the world.

"Huh - why is Max in the kitchen?"
"We're cooking."
"She's just keeping you company, right?" Nudge, Fang, Iggy, Angel, and Total all crammed into the kitchen and stared at the wooden spoon in my hand.
"No. She's cooking."
Quick, alarmed glances were exchanged among the flock.
"Cooking... food?" I heard someone murmur something about ordering a pizza.
"Yes, I'm cooking food, and it's great, and you're going to eat it, you twerps!"

  5. The only good thing about learning cursive is that if you become a celebrity you'll have a good way to sign autographs. :)) :P

  8. That was great. I'm going to be stealing many things from this post.... also, the reason Artemis hasn't been made yet is because it's waiting for me to make it.

By the way, I pronounce your name AM-uh-ranth-INE ("ine" like "wine"). My version wasn't an option as far as I could tell XD

(fangirl flapping of arms and running around in circles) (eee) (ignore this)(spoilers for Son of Neptune)

my fangirl obsessions go in cycles...this week, it's totally Heroes of Olympus/Percy Jackson(again)

There's this amazing artist on deviantart...burdge-bug...who does AMAZING Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Maximum Ride, and even HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE fanart. Now, we need to get her to read Artemis Fowl...XD.

Anyways, here are some of my favorites of hers.

I kind of want to pull a Ms. Black and blast Jason right off the tapestry. There's some speculation to whether or not Annabeth will be on the Argo II. I kind of don't want her to be, so Nico can join instead. Then again, if Nico is already in Rome(as speculated at the end of Neptune) there's still room.  GAH RR WHY MUST YOU TORMENT US SO

love this scene...Senatus Populusque Romanus FTW.

Which do you think is cooler? Camp Half Blood or Camp Jupiter? Camp Jupiter definitely has a more efficient way of doing things(separating by cohort instead of parentage, sending large groups instead o…

Ciel Phantomhive vs. Artemis Fowl

Don't laugh. XD
The similarities between the two characters are so distinct and obvious that comparison is inevitable for anyone who's read/watched both series. I seriously thought when I first noticed Black Butler(more popularly referred to as Kuroshitsuji) that it was literally an anime adaption of Artemis Fowl.  Other people have read Artemis Fowl and thought "CIEL HAS A CLONE??!?"
So I thought I'd outline some of the differences and analyze who would win. XD
Similarities:
Appearance:  This is the first similarity, and one of the most major, because if they didn't look so darn alike I don't think the comparison would have been as striking. The above picture of Artemis is a fanart, because there aren't really any good pictures of Artemis, and the manga style makes it more obvious. They are both from the British Isles and have black hair and blue eyes. Both of them lose/change/switch an eye resulting in two different colors.
Circumstance: They both s…

Howl's Moving Castle book analysis

“I feel ill. I'm going to bed, where I may die.”
― Howl, upon having a cold. I've decided to call them "book analysis" because they're not really reviews that tell you how much I liked the book, rather,  me taking the book apart and looking at different aspects of it for my own entertainment. Read on. Also, read Howl's Moving Castle.

This is the original cover of Howl's Moving Castle and I have got to say it is the UGLIEST thing I have ever seen. I like the new one much better.

Ahem.

First of all, I should point out that Howl's Moving Castle is a children's book. However, I like to hold all books I read to the same standard, after all, they're written by adults.

I had biased expectations of Howl's Moving Castle from the start, because I kept hearing from several sources how amazing, how fantastic, how hilarious and how romantic the book was, and hearing the perfectly gorgeous soundtrack by Joe Hizazi(something or other.)

Howl's Movi…
