Testing, testing....Review Wednsday!

I don't want to become just another review site.(there are plenty that do that.) But I just wanted to try this review thing, for once. If reviewing isn't my thing, then maybe I'll keep away from it.


The Comings and Goings of TCW.
 Some of you are going "NOOOO! Not TCW again!" I know some of you think its juvenile and messes with pre-existing canon(and it does.) But yes, there are 10+ viewers who watch it for the sake of canon. Come on, we're looking at 4+ seasons here. If you've got the time, at least watch it for the sake of Star Wars.

Corruption was one of those "character development" episodes, with not THAT much to do with the Clone Wars. But it did a good job at character development. 


I hated Satine in Season 2, period. I was disappointed they were going to continue her. In Duchess of Mandalore, she seemed very confused and indecisive. And I wished they would leave Mandalore alone and go find another planet to pick on.  But Corruption had me thinking, hey,  maybe she's not so bad after all. She's joined the ranks of Star Wars signature tough girls. It's obvious she genuinely wants peace and cares for her people. She seems a little naive about corruption in government, but it's evident that she's hopeful to stomp out corruption in Mandalore's government.   Maybe Mandalore isn't a peaceful island in the midst of war anymore.

  I still wish they would leave Mandalore alone, but this episode goes deeper into Mandalore's schools and debuts(for season 3)...........AURRA SING!!! Awesome! Sounds like a good episode. Lots of action!


(Who else forsees Mandalore joining the republic?)








PS. I think I'm going to do a little article on where to start reading in the EU. What do you think? Any suggestions?

    Mandalore is totally joining the Republic.
    I loved this past episode. If Padmé's in it; it instantly becomes a favorite of mine. ;)

    Great post. I like the review, even it is more of just a commentary. Also, the new template is nice and clean.

    Oh, and even though TCW is technically a kid's show, as a complete and utter Star Wars freak, I can't not watch it! :P

    And lets face it, it can entertain children and adults alike.

    Yeah, I'm not a Clone Wars fan. I find it blasphemous. I mean, really ANAKIN NEVER HAD A PADAWAN!!!
    And the voices aren't right.

    I love the books though :)

    Thanks to TCW, now he did. Ahsoka will probably die before the series ends, because she didn't appear in Revenge of the Sith(obviously.)

three amazing--and relatively little known--psalms

So I'm reading Psalms in the Bible right now. Well, Psalms is one of the three places I read from. I'm reading the Bible all the way through and read two chapters from three places--the Old Testament, the middle of the Old Testament, and the New Testament--every day. Ciel Phantomhive vs. Artemis Fowl

  Don't laugh. XD The similarities between the two characters are so distinct and obvious that comparison is inevitable for anyone who's read/watched both series. I seriously thought when I first noticed Black Butler(more popularly referred to as Kuroshitsuji) that it was literally an anime adaption of Artemis Fowl.  Other people have read Artemis Fowl and thought "CIEL HAS A CLONE??!?" So I thought I'd outline some of the differences and analyze who would win. XD Similarities: Appearance:  This is the first similarity, and one of the most major, because if they didn't look so darn alike I don't think the comparison would have been as striking. The above picture of Artemis is a fanart, because there aren't really any good pictures of Artemis, and the manga style makes it more obvious. They are both from the British Isles and have black hair and blue eyes. Both of them lose/change/switch an eye resulting in two different colors.

I need book recommendations!

    I heard this movie stunk. C'mon, I'm dying over here! In other, unrelated news, want to hear one of the most overrated book series I've ever read is? Alex Rider. I picked up Stormbreaker after legions of people going "READ ITZ AMARANTHINE TIS AMAZING". It was alright....I guess. I didn't...fall asleep or anything. But it was definitely not mind blowing. For starters, Alex is way underdeveloped as a character. He was a little funny and relate able but not on the same level as I was expecting. And he's a bit cliched in the fact that he's just generally smart and knows everything, without any explanation or emphasis. I guess you could say that he's only a genius when he needs to be, and it doesn't add any other levels to the story. Oh, and did I mention that he's well versed in martial arts too? Yeah. Ender could still kick his butt though. I guess it would be a good read for boys who don't read much. Definitely not YA lev
