God's Plan

God's plan for my  life is one of the perks of being a Christian. It's great because it means that I have an assured future of awesomeness, as long as I follow his plan.

But there are times when I don't know if I want God's plan for my life. I seem so boring, average, and unawesome. There are times when I'm almost completely sure that God's plan for my life is equally boring, average, and unawesome. I know lots of people who are much smarter, prettier, funnier, than I am.  
 
I know lots of people who definitely are on their way to accomplishing something GREAT for God. Surely God must be putting more money on them than on me to accomplish something. I'm never the best at anything. Sometimes I'm sure God probably has a plan to put me somewhere where I can't do any damage while the REAL Christians do all the amazing stuff, like make lame people walk again, etc.
 
 And God's plan means I have to sacrifice my own plan for his. This is hard, because I KNOW my own plan, and I don't know God's. Every morning when I wake up, I say "God, I want to follow your plan today." Which is great and all.

Except when God's plans don't match mine.

God's plan might mean that-

I won't become a famous accomplished dancer.
I won't be famous and invent something to save the world.
I won't be a famous author and write something that will last long after I am gone.
I won't be famous, rich, renowned, or anything other than what God wants me to be.
 
But what could God want me to be that's possibly better than that above^ list?
 
A lot of people follow God's plan and never become famous and rich. 

Maybe...I guess that being famous and rich isn't everything.
 
Some people who are famous and rich-
...have never read Artemis Fowl and don't even like to read
...have never watched Star Wars
...have never been on a camping trip with Girl Scouts
...have never visited The Lakehouse
...have never had an IMing session with Leia and JC
...have never had that caffeinated rush of accomplishment after finishing a NaNoWriMo novel
...have never written a blog post or follower-war with people.
...have never done a double pirouette
...have never been hugged by a little kid.

And some people who AREN'T famous and rich:
...are happy right where they are and wouldn't want to be

God has a plan for me. And it's perfect. And it's better than anything I(or anyone else, for that matter) could have thought up for myself. 

I can't wait to find out what it is.

    I loved this psot! I totally know how you feel. I've never felt like a boring person because well...I'm eccentric and I know it. xD
    But I do feel like an absolute failure a lot. and I'll start thinking, "Maybe I'm a sucky writer and God never did want me to be a published writer!" or "Maybe God moved me to Florida so I'll be incapable of moving to NYC to be on Broadway. ;-;"
    *siiiigh*

    But yea, like Endor said: He has an awesome plan for you! You might not realize what it is until you are 80 years old, but eventually you'll find it. :)

three amazing--and relatively little known--psalms

So I'm reading Psalms in the Bible right now. Well, Psalms is one of the three places I read from. Ciel Phantomhive vs. Artemis Fowl

  Don't laugh. XD The similarities between the two characters are so distinct and obvious that comparison is inevitable for anyone who's read/watched both series. I seriously thought when I first noticed Black Butler(more popularly referred to as Kuroshitsuji) that it was literally an anime adaption of Artemis Fowl.  Other people have read Artemis Fowl and thought "CIEL HAS A CLONE??!?" So I thought I'd outline some of the differences and analyze who would win. XD Similarities: Appearance:  This is the first similarity, and one of the most major, because if they didn't look so darn alike I don't think the comparison would have been as striking. The above picture of Artemis is a fanart, because there aren't really any good pictures of Artemis, and the manga style makes it more obvious. They are both from the British Isles and have black hair and blue eyes. Both of them lose/change/switch an eye resulting in two different colors.

I need book recommendations!

    I heard this movie stunk. C'mon, I'm dying over here! In other, unrelated news, want to hear one of the most overrated book series I've ever read is? Alex Rider. I picked up Stormbreaker after legions of people going "READ ITZ AMARANTHINE TIS AMAZING". It was alright....I guess. I didn't...fall asleep or anything. But it was definitely not mind blowing. For starters, Alex is way underdeveloped as a character. He was a little funny and relate able but not on the same level as I was expecting. And he's a bit cliched in the fact that he's just generally smart and knows everything, without any explanation or emphasis. I guess you could say that he's only a genius when he needs to be, and it doesn't add any other levels to the story. Oh, and did I mention that he's well versed in martial arts too? Yeah. Ender could still kick his butt though. I guess it would be a good read for boys who don't read much. Definitely not YA lev
