I've been caught. But don't worry, I didn't go down without a fight

And I was so close to being free.

I was tagged by Everyone's Favorite Composer And Apparently Tagger.

Normally I think tags are like email chain letters, but I'll do this one cause it's interesting.

5 things I learned in 2010:

1. I can accomplish anything with God's help. At the beginning of 2010 I made a list of goals, and almost every single one of them has been accomplished.
2. The future isn't always scary.
3. The world isn't very big at all.
4. I can find a happy medium between being a lonely unsocialized homeschooler and a bratty teenager.
5. I need to learn to lean on God. I always want to only depend on myself. But myself isn't enough.

5 things I want to accomplish this year:

  1. Make some progress in dance class.
  2. Not get nervous about piano any more and learn to improvise more in our band.
  3. I want to set a blogging goal. How about...60 followers? It's scary, I couldn't imagine having 60. (But then, I couldn't imagine having 40 either at the beginning of 2010. Mom says Abby's followership expands faster than mine because her blog is "focused" Pssh.)
  4. Online-interview someone famous.
  5. Do a guest post/be advertised. Again!

5 things I've always wanted to do but have never done:

  1. REAL publish a book.
  2. Interview someone famous.
  3. Be the best at something
  4. Learn to draw decently.
  5. Rule the world.

5 Things I see as important in life:

  1. Fulfilling God's plan. At the end of my life, I want to have lived my life to the minute and have God say: "Well done, good and faithful servant."
  2. Oxygen
  3. The internet
  4. Protein, carbohydrates and amino acids.
  5. The song "Africa" by Toto
  6. Music and words
  7. Communication
  8. Love
  9. Knowing how to count

5 Mishaps (Embarrassing moments that I can laugh at):
Mishaps. I can do that. That I can laugh at? Are you kidding me? I change this.
Ahem-
5  Moments when you thought you had life made. (Moments of accomplishment and exhilaration)

  1.  Giving my 8th grade graduation speech(a long time ago.) :P but it was my first speech. A lot of people came to talk to me afterward. :)
  2. The first time I won second place in a piano competition.
  3. Finishing my NaNoWriMo novel.
  4. My blog being featured on Storing Up Treasures
  5. When I won my iPod Shuffle/iPod NaNo/Itunes gift card/$50 Amazon gift card/$100 American Express gift card.

Okay. Guess I have to tag some people now.

Savannah
Audrey
Madeline(IDK if she reads my blog anymore, this is just a test.)

PS: Not getting nervous about a piano is a good one. I've had some really bad experiances with piano recitiles because of nerves.

(fangirl flapping of arms and running around in circles) (eee) (ignore this)(spoilers for Son of Neptune)

my fangirl obsessions go in cycles...this week, it's totally Heroes of Olympus/Percy Jackson(again)

There's this amazing artist on deviantart...burdge-bug...who does AMAZING Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Maximum Ride, and even HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE fanart. Now, we need to get her to read Artemis Fowl...XD.

Anyways, here are some of my favorites of hers.

eeeeeeeeeeeeee
I kind of want to pull a Ms. Black and blast Jason right off the tapestry. There's some speculation to whether or not Annabeth will be on the Argo II. I kind of don't want her to be, so Nico can join instead. Then again, if Nico is already in Rome(as speculated at the end of Neptune) there's still room.  GAH RR WHY MUST YOU TORMENT US SO

love this scene...Senatus Populusque Romanus FTW.

Which do you think is cooler? Camp Half Blood or Camp Jupiter? Camp Jupiter definitely has a more efficient way of doing things(separating by cohort instead of parentage, sending large groups instead o…

Ciel Phantomhive vs. Artemis Fowl

Don't laugh. XD
The similarities between the two characters are so distinct and obvious that comparison is inevitable for anyone who's read/watched both series. I seriously thought when I first noticed Black Butler(more popularly referred to as Kuroshitsuji) that it was literally an anime adaption of Artemis Fowl.  Other people have read Artemis Fowl and thought "CIEL HAS A CLONE??!?"
So I thought I'd outline some of the differences and analyze who would win. XD
Similarities:
Appearance:  This is the first similarity, and one of the most major, because if they didn't look so darn alike I don't think the comparison would have been as striking. The above picture of Artemis is a fanart, because there aren't really any good pictures of Artemis, and the manga style makes it more obvious. They are both from the British Isles and have black hair and blue eyes. Both of them lose/change/switch an eye resulting in two different colors.
Circumstance: They both s…

Howl's Moving Castle book analysis

“I feel ill. I'm going to bed, where I may die.”
― Howl, upon having a cold. I've decided to call them "book analysis" because they're not really reviews that tell you how much I liked the book, rather,  me taking the book apart and looking at different aspects of it for my own entertainment. Read on. Also, read Howl's Moving Castle.

This is the original cover of Howl's Moving Castle and I have got to say it is the UGLIEST thing I have ever seen. I like the new one much better.

Ahem.

First of all, I should point out that Howl's Moving Castle is a children's book. However, I like to hold all books I read to the same standard, after all, they're written by adults.

I had biased expectations of Howl's Moving Castle from the start, because I kept hearing from several sources how amazing, how fantastic, how hilarious and how romantic the book was, and hearing the perfectly gorgeous soundtrack by Joe Hizazi(something or other.)

Howl's Movi…
