:D(Day 18), responding to comments!

This is how your lovely comments make me feel.

Thank you for all your comments! They are definitely helping me recover. Leave more! XD

Jedi~Chick: I'm glad you liked the post! The third book is definitely my favorite. The loudness of our  band depends on the drummer. When Rebecca(a girl my age) is drumming, it's okay, but when Connor(this big burly senior guy) is drumming, I think my ears are going to explode from all the noise!

Qui: Yes! Read Percy Jackson again! And again! And again!

Eldra: Yes, our band leader Jonny sings this song better than Chris Tomlin, at least in my book. :) He has a really soothing voice.

Abby aka The Director: (Hugs back). Yes, Janus is everywhere! My favorite minor god is Hecate, just because of her name. Say it! HECK-ah-tee.

Migillicuty: PJatO too modernized? Is there such a thing? But I thought it made a lot of sense, with "the flame of the west" moving and all that.

Endor: Yes! Read them!

Leia: Eyiheehee. What did she say?

Right now I'm in the hyper enthusiastic mood, encouraged by the meat eating horses in Battle of the Labyrinth.

I lost hope when I saw the horses’ teeth.

As I got closer to the fence, I held my shirt over my nose to block the smell. One stallion waded through the muck and whinnied angrily at me. He bared his teeth, which were pointed like a bear’s.

I tried to talk to him in my mind. I can do that with most horses.

Hi, I told him. I’m going to clean your stables. Won’t that be great?
Yes! The horse said. Come inside! Eat you! Tasty half-blood!
But I’m Poseidon’s son, I protested. He created horses.

Usually this gets me VIP treatment in the equestrian world, but not this time.

Yes! The horse agreed enthusiastically. Poseidon can come in, too! We will eat you both! Seafood!
Seafood! The other horses chimed in as they waded through the field.

That right there is one of my favorite passages.
Apparently, I have to write about a time I felt passionate and alive.
....
........
About what?

Most of the time, I am either a.) hyper and excited for no reason(aka now) b.) moody and depressed for no reason c.) happy for a particular reason or d.) scared out of my wits.
Don't ya just love teenage hormones?

I'm guessing "passionate and alive" is somewhere between c.) and d.)

c.) moments
Starting the Lakehouse
People leave happy comments
I win something
I do something nice
Someone does something nice to me.

We have udon noodles for dinner
All my work is done and no stress

Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Nico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

d.) moments
I have to play piano at a competition or test.

Something I did a long time ago comes back to haunt me

Who made these questions? Come out here where I can see you!

(fangirl flapping of arms and running around in circles) (eee) (ignore this)(spoilers for Son of Neptune)

my fangirl obsessions go in cycles...this week, it's totally Heroes of Olympus/Percy Jackson(again)

There's this amazing artist on deviantart...burdge-bug...who does AMAZING Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Maximum Ride, and even HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE fanart. Now, we need to get her to read Artemis Fowl...XD.

Anyways, here are some of my favorites of hers.

eeeeeeeeeeeeee
I kind of want to pull a Ms. Black and blast Jason right off the tapestry. There's some speculation to whether or not Annabeth will be on the Argo II. I kind of don't want her to be, so Nico can join instead. Then again, if Nico is already in Rome(as speculated at the end of Neptune) there's still room.  GAH RR WHY MUST YOU TORMENT US SO

love this scene...Senatus Populusque Romanus FTW.

Which do you think is cooler? Camp Half Blood or Camp Jupiter? Camp Jupiter definitely has a more efficient way of doing things(separating by cohort instead of parentage, sending large groups instead o…

Ciel Phantomhive vs. Artemis Fowl

Don't laugh. XD
The similarities between the two characters are so distinct and obvious that comparison is inevitable for anyone who's read/watched both series. I seriously thought when I first noticed Black Butler(more popularly referred to as Kuroshitsuji) that it was literally an anime adaption of Artemis Fowl.  Other people have read Artemis Fowl and thought "CIEL HAS A CLONE??!?"
So I thought I'd outline some of the differences and analyze who would win. XD
Similarities:
Appearance:  This is the first similarity, and one of the most major, because if they didn't look so darn alike I don't think the comparison would have been as striking. The above picture of Artemis is a fanart, because there aren't really any good pictures of Artemis, and the manga style makes it more obvious. They are both from the British Isles and have black hair and blue eyes. Both of them lose/change/switch an eye resulting in two different colors.
Circumstance: They both s…

Howl's Moving Castle book analysis

“I feel ill. I'm going to bed, where I may die.”
― Howl, upon having a cold. I've decided to call them "book analysis" because they're not really reviews that tell you how much I liked the book, rather,  me taking the book apart and looking at different aspects of it for my own entertainment. Read on. Also, read Howl's Moving Castle.

This is the original cover of Howl's Moving Castle and I have got to say it is the UGLIEST thing I have ever seen. I like the new one much better.

Ahem.

First of all, I should point out that Howl's Moving Castle is a children's book. However, I like to hold all books I read to the same standard, after all, they're written by adults.

I had biased expectations of Howl's Moving Castle from the start, because I kept hearing from several sources how amazing, how fantastic, how hilarious and how romantic the book was, and hearing the perfectly gorgeous soundtrack by Joe Hizazi(something or other.)

Howl's Movi…
