What did I ever do to you? (Day 15)

I'm in a cranky mood because of something that happened at dance. Okay, so I have this "friend" named um, lets call her Nancy.

And there's this, um, other person named Satya. I never did anything to her, but she really gets on my nerves all the time. She always wears the wrong clothes to dance, like, skinny jeans and fancy shirts. She doesn't try very hard and always talks. She has short hair that will not stay up in a bun or ponytail, and she's always taking breaks to fix her hair and clothes. She has this weird grin that gets me in a bad mood too, like she's grinning about biting my head off.

And the teacher was dividing us into groups and I was confused at what I was supposed to do, and Nancy and Satya were both annoyed at my ignorance and trying to explain things to me. After I finally figured it out...
well, here, here's a transcript.

Satya(stares at me, loud, sarcastic voice): "What's wrong with her?"
Nancy(Takes a looonng look at me. Takes a loonng look at Satya. Speaks slowly.): "A lot of things."

Well, perdoneme.
 I exist, you know. I have ears.  And they work.

What did I ever do to you?

I would expect this from Satya. She's had it in for me since I accidentally butted into her conversation with the teacher and started talking about ballet when they were talking about bracelets. But Nancy's supposed to be my friend.

And later, when it was time to pick partners, Nancy partnered with someone else and not me!

I'm trying to remember what I did to her. Well, earlier we were talking about cookies and I gave her some tips and patted her on the head. Maybe my tips sounded a little thick headed. But she was shy! I told her not to be shy.

Okay, this is not "bullying". They're both smaller and younger than me. But what did I do? I like to be on good terms with everybody.

Oh, yeah, I have to pick someone I admire. Well, I'm not in a real positive mood right now. Not Nancy. And not Satya. Probably my mom and dad. And Percy Jackson and my grandmother. And Leia and Mon Mothma and Mina Bontarri.

And what do I say when I see them next week?

No, I'm not 8, but comments like that hurt whether you're 13 or 30. I'll hopefully be over it tomorrow. I pirouetted into her accidentally. Does that count as a satisfying form of revenge?

    Aw, hey that hurts. :| Sorry you had a bad day... I understand :P 'Cause when something goes wrong at ballet, it's worse than anywhere else somehow, for me.

    I don't have any advice for you, but just know I understand, and *I* like you!!! <3 The Lord loves you, too.... just don't forget that He loves those girls as well ;)

    Yes, pirouetting into someone pretty much takes care of it.... :P

    Aww. Amaranthine, I SO know how you feel!!! I have had....similar experiences with a girl who used to be in EVERY SINGLE DANCE CLASS I took. Thank goodness she moved on to Ice Skating! :P Anyway, she was younger than me, but was super annoying and very rude. Then if I said one thing to her about something that bothered me, or was sarcastic or something, she'd start crying and hate my guts! Grrr. *rolls eyes at memory* So yea, I understand. And there is nothing wrong with you! ;) You are an awesome blogger and an even better internet friend. ;)
    Hopefully next week will be better. Praying helps too. :)

    Meh, I don't like girls like that.
    They're either mean or they just act mean to go along with trends.
    And who the heck wears skinny jeans to dance??
    I mean a girl in my ballet class wears jeggings, but those are basically just tights and they work fine. But skinny jeans?

    I'm sorry. I cannot tell you how many times I've come across girls like that, they are so annoying!

    You're really awesome, and don't listen to any of the stupid stuff they give you.

Ciel Phantomhive vs. Artemis Fowl

  Don't laugh. XD The similarities between the two characters are so distinct and obvious that comparison is inevitable for anyone who's read/watched both series. I seriously thought when I first noticed Black Butler(more popularly referred to as Kuroshitsuji) that it was literally an anime adaption of Artemis Fowl.  Other people have read Artemis Fowl and thought "CIEL HAS A CLONE??!?" So I thought I'd outline some of the differences and analyze who would win. XD Similarities: Appearance:  This is the first similarity, and one of the most major, because if they didn't look so darn alike I don't think the comparison would have been as striking. The above picture of Artemis is a fanart, because there aren't really any good pictures of Artemis, and the manga style makes it more obvious. They are both from the British Isles and have black hair and blue eyes. Both of them lose/change/switch an eye resulting in two different colors.

I need book recommendations!

    I heard this movie stunk. C'mon, I'm dying over here! In other, unrelated news, want to hear one of the most overrated book series I've ever read is? Alex Rider. I picked up Stormbreaker after legions of people going "READ ITZ AMARANTHINE TIS AMAZING". It was alright....I guess. I didn't...fall asleep or anything. But it was definitely not mind blowing. For starters, Alex is way underdeveloped as a character. He was a little funny and relate able but not on the same level as I was expecting. And he's a bit cliched in the fact that he's just generally smart and knows everything, without any explanation or emphasis. I guess you could say that he's only a genius when he needs to be, and it doesn't add any other levels to the story. Oh, and did I mention that he's well versed in martial arts too? Yeah. Ender could still kick his butt though. I guess it would be a good read for boys who don't read much. Definitely not YA lev
