Yay!(award)

While typing in the title I realized that I have a whole crop of posts with the title "Yay!". Oh well. I guess I live a joyful life.

So I got awarded by Endor! Yes! I actually remembered who this time. :P


I'm stylish. ;P


So, thank you Endor! I don't know Endor as well as some of my other internet friends, because she's rarely on the Lakehouse and doesn't IM me, but she's dear to me. Through her, I met Savannah, JC, Leia, and pretty much everybody. Also, I love her sweet blog. I'm going to start a series on Becoming God's Princess and it's definitely going to be dedicated to her.




Seven things about me:
1. My main insecurity is being a complete and utter fail at dancing. >.> My second insecurity is that the drummer in our band plays the keyboard better than me(the keyboardist).
2. I desperately wish I could be like Qui. She's so creative and hard working and is so determined to try new things(and is good at everything she tries, too.) ;)

3.I have read every single novel with Jaina Solo in it.
4. I've hardly touched my NaNo novel since I finished it.
5. I have a deep and innate desire to be good at everything. That's practically unchangeable.
6. I have no fashion sense.
7. I'm excited for spring break!

So I'm reading Psalms in the Bible right now. Well, Psalms is one of the three places I read from. Her Universe

  Before I start, let me just say this. I appreciate what Ashley Eckstein is doing. It's obvious she really cares about and is enthusiastic about her line, and she's using her position to make our days(and wardrobes, apparently) a little more cheerful. However, I don't think Her Universe is the huge movement she expects it to be. The website   talks about how female SW fans have a hard time finding merchandise designed "just for us" and the trials of having to wear either "very girly stuff" or "men's stuff in small sizes."   This post from Club Jade clearly favors and is enthusiastic of Her Universe. Black Butler(Kuroshitsuji) and demons in entertainment

I recently started another anime/manga series called Black Butler, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite things of all time. Set in Victorian England, the series follows the loyal butler Sebastian Michealis and his thirteen year old master, the earl Ciel Phantomhive, who became the head of the Phantomhive estate and company after a mysterious fire killed his parents. Ciel is also known as "the Queen's guard dog" as he follows in his family's footsteps as the patrol/crime investigation frontman of the London underworld. Ever at Ciel's side, ready to carry out any order to the letter, Sebastian is actually a demon in a supernatural contract with Ciel: once Sebastian helps Ciel carry out all his goals, including vengeance on those who killed his parents, Sebastian will be allowed to kill Ciel and consume his soul.
